Film Production
We are a group of like minded artistic individuals who wish to create films. All movies produced by Not Quite Hollywood are done so with little or no budget. Our goal is to provide Northern California residents with access to the resources needed to learn and create great films.

Accomplishments to Date
Under the current partnership of Shawn Dyer and James Smith, Not Quite Hollywood has produced and self distributed four short films while simultaneously striking a newfound interest in cinema throughout the community in Chico California.
Working Side by side with Chicocanes, Not Quite Hollywood has assisted in the creation of multiple short films and music videos.

A vision for the future
Not Quite Hollywood will inject learning possibilities into our community that were never before possible in this area. We will provide internships for students who normally would not have had such an opportunity in previous years. By working with students and young professionals we will be summoning a creative outlet that has never before existed here. We will create a new market for Filmmakers in northern California and help stimulate the economy by providing more creative jobs.
